1 Choose a Plan and Download

Head to the pricing page and choose the plan that fits your needs. The Free tier gives you 5 automated crypt runs per day — no credit card required. If you go with Starter or Pro, you'll complete your purchase through Stripe and receive a license key by email.

Once your plan is active, you'll receive a download link for the WarForge installer. The file is a standard Windows .exe installer, roughly 80–120 MB in size.

Requirements

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), approximately 500 MB of disk space, and a stable internet connection. No special hardware or GPU required.

2 Install the Application

Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts. During installation, you'll be asked whether to create a desktop shortcut — we recommend selecting yes, as it makes launching WarForge much faster.

The installer places WarForge in your Program Files directory and registers it for automatic updates. No additional runtimes, plugins, or dependencies need to be installed separately — everything is bundled.

Windows SmartScreen

Because WarForge is a new application, Windows SmartScreen may show a warning during installation. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to proceed. This is standard for new software that hasn't yet built up a reputation with Microsoft's signing service.

3 Launch WarForge

Open the application from your desktop shortcut or Start menu. When WarForge starts, you'll see two things happen:

First, a command prompt (CMD) window will open. This is the WarForge backend process — it handles communication between the automation engine and the browser. Do not close this window. It needs to stay running the entire time WarForge is active. You can minimize it, but closing it will shut down the entire application.

Second, a web-based dashboard will open in your default browser. This is the main WarForge interface where you'll configure your settings, log in to Total Battle, and control the automation. The dashboard has two main tabs: Dashboard and Config.

Keep the CMD window open

The command prompt window is the heart of WarForge. Minimizing it is fine — closing it will stop everything. If you accidentally close it, just relaunch the application.

4 Configure Your Settings

Before running your first crypt automation, you need to set up your configuration. Click the Config tab in the top-right corner of the dashboard. This is where you tell WarForge how to play the game on your behalf.

SettingDescriptionRecommendation
Crypt Types Select which crypt rarities to explore — Common, Rare, and/or Epic Start with Common + Rare. Add Epic once comfortable.
Min / Max Level Set the level range for crypts to target Match your captain strength. Start conservative.
Captains Choose how many captains to send per exploration (1–3) 1 captain for overnight runs to maximize total runs.
Username Your Total Battle login username Enter exactly as you'd type it on the game login screen.
Password Your Total Battle login password Stored locally only — never sent to our servers.
Privacy note

Your Total Battle username and password are stored in an encrypted file on your local machine only. They are never transmitted to WarForge servers. The only thing our server sees is your license key for validation. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Once you've entered your settings, they're saved automatically. You only need to configure this once — WarForge remembers your settings between sessions.

5 Auto-Login to Total Battle

Switch back to the Dashboard tab. You'll see an "Auto Login" button. Click it, and WarForge will open Total Battle in its built-in browser window and log you in automatically using the credentials you entered in the Config tab.

During the login process, you'll see the game loading screen, then the main city view. Do not click or interact with the game window while auto-login is running. Let WarForge handle everything — it needs to navigate the UI elements in a specific order, and manual clicks can interfere with the automation sequence.

You may see a small popup or notification appear during login. This is normal — the game sometimes shows daily reward popups, event banners, or similar dialogs. WarForge is designed to detect and dismiss these automatically.

Once login is complete and the game is fully loaded, click "Stop" on the Auto Login button. This tells WarForge that the login phase is done and it should prepare for crypt automation. The game window will remain open with your account logged in.

Important

Always click Stop on Auto Login after the game finishes loading. If you skip this step and go straight to crypt riding, the automation may not start correctly because WarForge is still in login mode.

6 Start Crypt Riding

This is the moment. With the game logged in and Auto Login stopped, click "Start Crypt Riding" on the dashboard.

WarForge will now take over and begin the fully automated crypt exploration loop. Here's what happens behind the scenes on each cycle:

The automation engine navigates to the watchtower, scans the map for available crypts matching your configured type and level range, selects the best available target, sends your captains to explore, waits for the exploration to complete (optionally applying speed-up items), collects the loot, and then starts the cycle again.

Every action is logged in real time on the dashboard — you can watch it work, or minimize the window and go to sleep. WarForge runs in the background and doesn't need the game window to be visible or focused.

If the game disconnects, crashes, or shows an unexpected popup, the built-in recovery system detects the problem, refreshes the page, re-logs in if necessary, and resumes where it left off. You don't need to babysit it.

That's it

You're now running automated crypt exploration. Check your dashboard in the morning to see how many crypts were completed, what loot was collected, and how many captains were used. The detailed log can be exported to CSV for tracking.

Critical — Do not log in elsewhere

While WarForge is running, do not log in to your Total Battle account from any other device or browser — not from your phone, not from another PC, not from the game's website. Total Battle only allows one active session at a time. If you log in somewhere else, your WarForge session will be disconnected and the automation will stop. If you need to check your account, stop WarForge first, use the game, and then restart WarForge when you're done.

💡 Tips and Troubleshooting

Running overnight: Make sure your PC's sleep settings are disabled, or set to "Never" while WarForge is running. If your computer goes to sleep, the browser process pauses and automation stops. Alternatively, you can run WarForge on a VPS (virtual private server) to keep it running 24/7 without tying up your personal PC.

Multiple accounts (Pro only): If you're on the Pro plan, you can run multiple instances of WarForge with different configurations for different Total Battle accounts. Each instance opens its own browser window and operates independently.

Speed-ups: If you have speed-up items in your Total Battle inventory, WarForge can automatically use them to complete explorations faster, increasing the total number of crypts you run per night. This is configurable — you can choose to save your items or let WarForge burn through them for maximum throughput.

CMD window closed by accident: If you accidentally close the command prompt window, all automation stops. Simply relaunch WarForge from the desktop shortcut, go through the auto-login process again, and restart crypt riding. Your configuration settings are preserved.

Game updated and things broke: Total Battle occasionally releases updates that change the game's interface. If WarForge stops working after a game update, check for a WarForge update — we typically release patches within 24–48 hours of major game changes. Paid plans receive updates automatically.
